Fw190D vs P-51D

This was amoung one of my first pictures after an almost 3 year hiatus in May 2007 and was my very first try on high quality silk-gloss paper which gives a wonderful 'sheen' effect.

The depiction is that Oberleutnant Hans Hartigs Fw190D, who having just downed a P-47 T-bolt to bring his total kill tally to 6, was in turn brought down by P-51s of the 361st FG 'Yellowjackets'.

The drawing was personally signed by KC holders Hajo Hermann, JG300, & Walter Schuch, JG5.
